Club 7 Fitness instructors are AFAA, ACE, Turbo Kick, Pilates, Zumba, Cycle are BODYPUMP™ and/or BODYVIVE™ trainers. Our Yoga instructors are Yogafit trainers and have other speciality certifications. We all take pride in keeping up with what is hot in the industry and new class ideas. Definition of Classes
BODYPUM
P™ - is the fastest way to shape up and lose body fat. It’s a toning and conditioning class with weights and is for just about everybody who wants to add strength training into their aerobic workout. The simplicity of the class makes BODYPUMP a great starting point to develop strength and confidence.
BODYVIVE™ – is the low-impact group fitness workout that lets you choose just how hard you work. Using the VIVE balls, VIVE tubes and optional hand weights you’re talked step-by-step through the entire class by a skilled instructor, while listening to uplifting and inspiring music!
CX30™/CXWORX™ – NEW - really hones in on the torso and sling muscles that connect your upper body to your lower body. It’s ideal for tightening your tummy and butt, while also improving functional strength and assisting in injury prevention. Looking for a short, sharp workout that’ll inspire you to the next level of fitness, while strengthening and toning your body? CX30™/CXWORX™ is for you!
Kickboxing- A challenging interval strength class that blends your own strength with punching, kicking and fun music! This training will increase your aerobic stamina, help reduce stress and define muscle tone from head to toe. This ain’t no dance class!
Turbo Kick - This class offers the best of two world’s; group exercise and martial arts. Our team of martial artists have developed movement patterns, combinations and techniques specific to the ancient sport of Muay Thai Boxing. It’s the ultimate cardiovascular challenge complete with a sport specific warm-up, bouts of intense intervals, easy to follow combinations, kickboxing specific strength/endurance training and a Tai-Chi cool-down.
Zumba® Toning – NEW – When it comes to body sculpting, Zumba Toning raises the bar (or rather, the toning stick). It combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness-party. Students learn how to use lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm and tone their entire target zones, including arms, abs, glutes and thighs. Zumba Toning is the perfect way for enthusiasts to sculpt their bodies naturally while having a total blast. Zumba Fitness recommends that you wear “cross training” or “aerobic” style shoes. They provide the cushion and medial lateral support needed for side-to-side movements. They also have low traction rubber.
Zumba - Zumba? It’s 60-minutes of aerobic-dance featuring a variety of rhythms from all over Latin America. You’ll get a taste of everything! Meringue, Salsa, Flamenco, Samba, Tango, Reggae, Cumbia, Calypso, Cha Cha, Belly Dancing, Break Dancing and more!! Come, Dance and get a great workout!
Spinning - is the indoor cycling workout where you ride to the rhythm of powerful music. Take on the terrain with your inspiring team coach who leads the pack through hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials, and interval training. Discover your athlete within – sweat and burn to reach your endorphin high. Like all the fitness programs, our spinning classes push you to the MAX with music & FUN!
Yoga – Sometimes you just need to relax and focus! Yoga is a great compliment and necessity to any workout program. This class is devoted to increase strength, flexibility and balance. Appropriate for the beginner as well as the experienced yogi.
Pilates - Pilates focuses on a strong core which includes back and abdominals. Rather than strengthening muscles by shortening them, Pilates creates a long, strong, lean muscles. This class is appropriate for any skill level and is a wonderful addition to your yoga and fitness practice.
PIYO – combines moves form effective choreography that’s challenging and will make you sweat. It’s about energy, power, and rhythm. Think sculpted abdominals, increased overall core strength, and greater stability. This is unlike anything you’ve ever done before, and we’re sure you’ll love it more than any other strength-building, core conditioning class you’ve taken. PiYo™ requires no previous experience. A combination of Pilates & Yoga is a 1-2 punch for the body.
Gentle Yoga - Matching movement with breath this yoga class builds flexibility and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.
Zen Hatha - The foundation of every style of yoga mentioned here. Traditional Hatha yoga is a holistic path that includes disciplines, physical postures (asana), purification procedures, breathing (pranayama), and meditation. Hatha practiced in the West consists of mostly physical postures and is also recognized as a gentle introductory yoga for people new to yoga.
Vinyasa Flow – Derived from Ashtanga yoga, expect a class full of rhythmical flow connecting each moment with unifying pranayama (breath). Classes can be more meditative or focused on the natural movement of the body, almost like dancing through postures. A great transition from Hatha yoga when you’re looking for more of a challenge.
Weighted Workout - This workout is designed to imitate the weight room in a group setting. Each class will perform the same exercises for legs, back, biceps, triceps, chest and abs. You will challenge yourself to improve your strength and form.
SPARQ TRAINING – has landed in Blue Springs. Whether you are an athlete training for competition or a curious youth looking for an alternative to video game playing, you will find SPARQ TRAINING challenging and rewarding. Developed by the world’s greatest coaches and used by athletes at all ages and levels, SPARQ TRAINING is de-signed to build explosive athletes, reduce injury, and more importantly, win more games.
